today's european - comenius project
The main aim of the project is to promote the education for volunteering as a component of European active civic behaviours. The project will approach the issue through a transnational e-magazine from two perspectives: theoretical information-which will include lessons about volunteering (volunteer’s skills, importance of the volunteering in schools, environmental and virtual volunteering) and practical volunteering activities performed in common by pupils, parents and teachers of all partner’s schools, promoting this activities in the national/international communities, meeting other pupils/teachers from Europe with different culture, having fun and others (which will be presented in the e-magazine as photos, drawings and articles). The project’s theme will be included in the schools’ curricula (various classes of history, civic education, geography, foreign languages, ICT, technical education, arts and music). We will realize those activities through an active collaboration with non-profit organizations which will assure us qualified assistance in this field. To involve pupils in theoretical activities we will organize debates, case studies, workshops, exhibition of drawings and photos. This projects main target group is pupils from 6 to 18 years old but also teachers, pupil’s families, local authorities and communities. Final products will be web-page with the e-magazine and blog, posters, flyers, CDs with all the materials. All those will be use to disseminate the ongoing results and all the activities performed during the project. At the end of the project we hope our pupils, teachers and parents will became active members of the non-profit organizations to continue the activities develop in our project.
